InspectionGearboxes are designed and certified for operation utilizing a prescribed set of loads and speed. But wind blows differently in Ontario than it does in Iowa. If OEM material quality or assembly workmanship is not as designed, site conditions (capacity factor, wind class, curtailment, etc) will dramatically shorten gearbox life.
